Trip Overview of the 2 Days (Best) Entebbe City Tour in Uganda

Day 1: Entebbe Tour

Rise up very early in the morning and have breakfast then you will be picked up by our driver and drive to Entebbe making your first stop at Zika forest for Eco-tourism experience and canopy walk. This forest also has various tree species and butterflies.

Then from here you will proceed to Uganda Wildlife Education Center [UWEC] formerly referred to as Entebbe Zoo where you will see several animal species both endangered and orphaned like white rhinos, Kobs, lions, birds and very many plants and medicinal herbs.

Transfer to botanical gardens to have a keen look at the various tree species identified with the scientific names, plus many more other species and birds. Have lunch at the Entebbe Imperial Botanical Beach hotel then relax. In the evening head to Mabamba swamp on the outskirts of L.Victoria.

Here you will watch various species of birds that will highly entice you. Such birds include; hornbill, shoebill, marabou stalk, pelicans etc. Retire to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Meal plan is F/B.

Day 2: 2nd Entebbe Tour

Wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast. Then together with packed lunch breakfast, proceed to Ngamba Island. Ngamba Island is part of the Koome group of islands located on Lake Victoria which is home to 40 orphaned chimpanzees which provides these orphaned chimpanzees with a secure home to live out their lives, since a return to their natural habitat is not possible.

This exercise will consume a whole day as it will necessitate taking very important photographs that will in the future act as souvenirs. Then after wards return to your hotel and thus the end of the tour.
